Tips on Checking for Tire  Issues

Your satisfaction is our highest priority!

Here are some tips on ways to catch tire issues before they become dangerous and costly. If you see uneven wear, you may need to have your tires rotated.

Check for uneven wear which can be caused by

  • Too much or too little air pressure
  • Problems with steering or suspension
  • Problems with  alignment or balancing
Check for the following problems which could mean you need new tires soon, also these could cause loss of control and even a blowout which can be very dangerous.
  • Anything that’s poking into the tire like sharp objects such as nails, screws, glass, etc.
  • Any Tread pulling away from the body of the tire
  • Worn Treads. Stick a Lincoln penny in the tread, top first. If the tread doesn't touch Lincoln's head, your tires are worn
  • Cracking or Bulging of the treads or sidewalls that may mean there is wear or a weakness
